Privacy policy

Your brief stays on your phone. This policy covers the ECLIP Claqueta app for Android; the website note below covers this site.

This website

The website has no account, no cookies, no analytics and no external scripts or fonts. The brief planner keeps your briefs in this browser (local storage) until you delete them, and opens WhatsApp or your own email app with the brief written in. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

02

What this notice covers

The notice covers the app on your phone: the catalogue and estimates, the briefs you prepare, saved briefs and the ways the app hands a brief to you to send.

03

The catalogue and estimates in the app

The video types, production times, proposed prices and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.

Image for the privacy section The brief you prepare

04

The brief you prepare

A brief holds a project name, its purpose and audience, the date ECLIP could confirm it, an earliest shoot date and a needed-by date if you set them, and whether weekends or holidays may be used.

Briefs stay on your phone.

05

Videos, versions and cutdowns

For each finished video the brief records its type, length, format, extra versions, cutdowns, subtitles, music, graphics, voice-over and who writes the script.

Image for the privacy section Locations and shot lists

06

Locations and shot lists

For each place the brief records a name you choose, the kind of place, the zone and distance from Ibagué, the hours available and the shot list. Use a general name such as "Shop" if you prefer not to write an address.

Image for the privacy section Dates and schedule

07

Dates and schedule

The shoot days and the edit and review schedule are worked out on your phone from the brief and the Colombian public holidays in the app.

Image for the privacy section Your name, company and phone

08

Your name, company and phone

To let ECLIP reply, a brief can include your name, your company and a phone number. You type them yourself and they are optional.

Image for the privacy section Where your data is stored

09

Where your data is stored

Everything you enter is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.

Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup.

Image for the privacy section No account, no cloud copy

10

No account, no cloud copy

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

Image for the privacy section What the app does not collect

11

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

Image for the privacy section No internet access

12

No internet access

The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

Image for the privacy section Sending a brief by WhatsApp

13

Sending a brief by WhatsApp

When you tap Send on WhatsApp, the app opens WhatsApp with the brief written in a message to ECLIP. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

Image for the privacy section Sending a brief by email

14

Sending a brief by email

When you choose Email, the app opens your own email app with the brief written in and addressed to ECLIP. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

Image for the privacy section Calling us, copying and sharing

15

Calling us, copying and sharing

Call opens your phone app with ECLIP’s number filled in; the call is made only if you start it. Copy puts the brief on the clipboard and Share opens the Android share sheet.

Image for the privacy section How ECLIP uses a brief you send

16

How ECLIP uses a brief you send

A brief you send reaches ECLIP through the channel you used. ECLIP uses it to reply with a quote, dates and availability.

Ask ECLIP directly how long it keeps messages and briefs.

17

Your choices and rights under Colombian law

You can edit, duplicate or delete saved briefs at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Deleting a brief does not cancel anything you already sent.

Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012) you can ask ECLIP S.A.S to know, update, correct or delete the personal data you sent, and you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. Send such requests to eclipibague@gmail.com.

18

Changes and contact

If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
